A million dollar Post-it to euthanize Modern Art

An ordinary guy (not an artist) who signs as ‘G’, worried because art it’s since many decades ago a big fraud, has decided to put an end to Modern Art by creating the Ultimate Art Fraud: a Post-it that he is selling in eBay for a million dollars (or more!).

G thinks that Modern Art is nowadays like a comatose patient kept alive artificially by a bunch of speculators and thefts (“artists”, critics, art dealers, gallery owners...) that want to keep living off it without any effort, repeating the same ideas (supposedly avant-gardist) over and over.

G wants to euthanize Modern Art. Inspired by Cervantes (who put an end to the ridiculous knight-errant books of his time by writing a knight-errant book even more ridiculous, crazy and absurd), he wants to put an end to Modern Art frauds making an even bigger fraud!
In his web page (www.theendofmodernart.com) he explains how the sale of his work “The End Of “Modern Art”” for a million dollars will put an end to Modern Art or, at least, generate a very necessary debate that will help to stop art frauds.

“The End Of “Modern Art”” is for sale on eBay, to avoid gallery owners and art dealers, who are not interested in killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. If G’s plans are successful, Modern Art will die just to make way to a Timeless Art, inspiring, enriching and, above all, original.

geoGreeting! - Write with buildings

www.geogreeting.com

Another strange aplication for Google Maps.
Write a message with buildings and e-mail it to your friends.
It uses real buildings (that look like letters) from all over the world.

The Desktop Project - Upload your desktop, say who you are!

www.desktoproject.net/desktoproject/

"What is Desktop Project?
Desktop Project is the world's biggest desktop archive!

Why Desktop Project?
Because a desktop is an interesting thing. It represents people's own way to organize logical space, manipulate personal objects and contacts, plan activities. If you could know someone by watching his house, it would be the same by watching his desktop. A desktop is a personality mirror. It goes with the psychological, economical, social condition of its user. It could show some aspects of his private life, but in general it will show one's style, likings, desires, stereothypes, miths. Desktops from different parts of the world exemplify the path of contemporary globalization and standardization (Britney Spears on a Pakistani guy's desktop), or in some cases, forms of opposition to it, regionalisms (soccer teams, pictures of friends, ecc). Desktoproject is both an informatic and sociological experiment."
